The Boeing 737-700 first entered service with Southwest Airlines in December 1997 and the airline currently operates more than 500 of the-700s. The -700 can carry up to 143 passengers in single-aisle, all economy, six-abreast seating. Older B737-700s are expected to be replaced by the new B737 MAX.
