I use this product to record my cockpit audio so that I can later sync it up with my Go Pro video. The audio that comes from the cockpit directly into the Go Pro is really bad, but using this cord and a sony audio recording device works perfectly. I plug this into my Cessna 172M and plug my Bose A20s into the cord. It works exactly as it should!
