Description
The Learjet 45 is a light business jet, larger than the LJ31 and smaller than the LJ60. When it was released in 1997, the LJ45 was the company’s first clean sheet design since the original Learjet 23 in 1964.
The outer appearance of the LJ45 is similar to other Learjets, but it was built with a lighter, less-robust wing and tail assembly. This modification meant improved efficiency, load capacity, and a more competitive price. An all-glass flight deck was installed and the engines were changed to FADEC-equipped Allied Signal for improved fuel efficiency and easier maintenance.
The LJ45 has a max speed of 463 knots and a cruise speed of 445 knots. Its range is 1,710 nautical miles, and its service ceiling is 51,000 feet. The Learjet 45 is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-20 turbofan engines producing 3,650 pounds thrust each.
This stunning Limited-Edition Learjet 45 Large Mahogany Model is handcrafted from the finest mahogany wood. The high-quality design captures every detail of the LJ45. Your model includes a detachable wood display stand and arrives securely packaged in a foam-fitted shipping box. It is a great gift for any pilot or aviation enthusiast.
