Description
Boats just weren’t enough to keep Donald Douglas’s interest. In 1912, he left the Naval Academy before graduating to look for a job in aeronautical engineering. Eight years later, he founded Douglas Aircraft Company, eventually helping save Europe from fascism with the Douglas C-47 Skytrain military transporter.
Douglas is a part of Boeing now, but you can still show the company some love with this officially licensed T-shirt made by the Aeroplane Apparel Company that celebrates Douglas’s So-Cal roots.
Produced under license from Boeing. Boeing, the distinctive Boeing logos, product markings, and trade dress are trademarks of The Boeing Company.
