Description
The B757-200 is the largest single-aisle aircraft manufactured by Boeing. The aircraft was first flow in 1982 and production, totaling 1050 aircraft, continued through 2004. The B757-200 was built as a follow-on model to replace the Boeing 727 on short and medium range routes, although it appears that US Air used the aircraft, which had an operational range of more than 4,000 miles. Our model is shown in the livery of U.S. Airways prior to its merger with American Airlines. Interesting fact: The 757 has been used on route of more than 4,200 miles apart, and cities only 65 miles apart.
